Leeza Meksin’s Douchebags are non-utilitarian boob purses which continue her exploration of different types of bags. The Douchebags are made from hand-dyed neoprene that has been cut and layered with athletic mesh, stiffened and then hand-painted. Previous multiples projects include FUPAS, Dykelets, Leggings and Designer Douchebags (which were actual boob bags).  The multiples are both funny and serious and are influenced by Leeza’s paintings and installations which explore the public and private body as it relates to clothing, queerness, architecture and art history.
